Marina Deck 11 room question

I recently put a hold on one of the A1 rooms on deck 11 and was wondering how quiet these rooms are. I noticed the pool area was directly above and on some other cruise lines, it could get a bit noisy at night as the crew dragged the lounge chairs around.

We were on deck 11, but in one of the cabins that was under The Terrace, and never heard a sound. The sound proofing on deck 11 is excellent.

We were located under the Culinary center and could hear things being moved around the floor. I can only think it was the big cooler boxes being moved for cleaning. Then there was our banging pipe. Not crazy about the big overhang on Deck 11. I could not see any stars from the veranda.

I specifically chose a PH2 on Deck 11 because it was under the O suites on Deck 12. That said, I never heard one single sound from above.
