In regards to the soda card that costs $25, should we purchase that online before boarding or, should I wait until we board?

Don't forget you can also bring soda on board. We usually bring on a 6 pack or two of diet coke in the 16 oz bottles so we can use as needed. I also like to bring a travel mug with lid to fill up with my hot tea in the morning (HAL's cups are way too small) and soda or water and ice for the rest of the day.

In regards to buying soda card in advance, that's one less thing to do when you get on board. For our 12 day cruise, I will am planning to buy in advance at least one soda card and one beverage card since my husband likes the coffee drinks at the Explorations Cafe in the afternoon. Depending on the ease of buying soda in Dover, I may have to buy one more card since there are four of us traveling.
