Shuttle to Port Everglades

We will be sailing out of Port Everglades and will arrive in Fort Lauderdale the day before we sail. We will probably stay at the Fairfield Inn. Has anyone stayed at this hotel before? How much is the shuttle to the cruise port for five people? There will be a total of 10 people going to the cruise port, although just 5 in our immediate family. It would be great if all of us could go together so we wouldn't have to worry about meeting up, but that is not a must. I have read some reviews that it is cheaper to get an outside shuttle service, but not sure where to look for that. I would appreciate any information anyone has about shuttle service to Port Everglades.

We are not staying at the Fairfield Inn, but our Travel Agent has us booked into the Springhill Suites. This hotel has suite accommodations (Marriott property) that have two queens and a queen sofa bed. Breakfast in the morning. They have a free shuttle from the airport, as well as a free shuttle to the port in the morning. May be worth checking out. Seems like a good place.
