rhume55 Posted April 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Hi, I'll be stopping in Belize and not sure what to do. I see a lot of people do the "cave tubing" thing but that doesn't interest me too much. I'd rather be outside than in a cave. :) Can anyone suggest a beach or a relaxing outdoor excursion? I see there's something called "Altun Ha Mayan Site & River Wallace", but a 5.5 boat tour sounds a little long to me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Rob. cruisy-suzy Posted April 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Hey Rob, I have been researching Belize and there isn't much of a beach anywhere. I guess the shore is typically rocky due to it being close to reefs. We've decided to go on CCL's excursion snorkeling to Goff's Caye since it is a good one for beginners and part of our group is new to snorkeling (AND cruising)! Depending on your ports, I think Roatan, Cozumel, and GC are better for beach days. Happy cruising,
