Where in the world is Sudi ?

Just back from 3 great Azamara Far East cruises, and a week in Bali hosted by our long time friend, and favorite cruise ship bartender, Sudi. During his sailing days Sudi had 11 contracts on Celebrity before getting married 5 years ago to his lovely wife, Lilik. They have a son, Willing, who is 4 and a daughter, Honesty, age 9 months.

 

Sudi continues to play a significant role in the cruise industry since he has built a very large operation that recruits, trains and places staff from Bali and Indonesia on cruise ships. Among his clients are RCCL, Celebrity, Azamara, Regent, Oceania and Disney. During our week there he had reps from RCCL, Celebrity and Azamara final interview over 400 candidates. To attest to the quality of his operation over 80% received job offers! He has several class room buildings and is now building an additional facility that will have a ship's galley, bar and dining room. The 12 month program that he runs includes a 6 month internship in various 5 start Bali resorts, who end up hiring many of the students, as well.
