Priority Tender?

If you have booked a Princess Shorex do you get any form of priority with Tenders.

Have noticed some of my shorex are quite early and we will need to be off the ship sooner rather than later to meet the deadline

You generally meet in the Princess Theater to be escorted to a tender to your Princess tour. And if there's a delay returning they will delay the ship to get onboard...both part of the benefits of booking with Princess.

The only time I have seen Princess not organize the tours onboard to be tendered together is when the tours are later on in the day. Sometimes then it says to meet on shore and to give yourself enough time to tender in. But no worry for early Princess booked shore ex. ;)

Thanks Toto for mentioning the 'meet on the pier' situations after I neglected to mention those situations. :o

You will receive your tour ticket in your cabin when you embark or shortly afterwards. The ticket will have the pertinent information on it, such as the meeting time and if there's anything special you should bring. The Patter the night before you arrive in port will have specifics about what time and where to meet. We've found that the time given is when you should already be there, not the earliest time to arrive. We usually plan to arrive at the meeting place 10-15 minutes before the listed time.

Once you get to the Princess theater, you will be given a sticker with your tour # and bus or group #. You will be directed to sit with those with the same sticker #. They will announce which group is disembarking either to the tenders or shore and someone will lead your group. They don't always call in order because it depends on how many seats are available on the tender. It's well-organized and orchestrated.

One thing to note is that if your tour is late, the ship will wait for you. But if you are dropped off at the dock after your tour in time to get the tender, it's your responsibility to be on the tender in time to get back on the ship. It's not unusual for people to stop and do shopping at or near the pier and mistakenly assume everyone will wait for them because they were on a ship's tour. :)
