Embarking on Carribbean Princess

The Travel Documents we were sent say check in and embarkation is from 1-4, and to avoid lines come after 2, however I know people who say the least lines are at 12 or 12:30 (when, according to the travel documents, Princess has not even begun checking people in?). What time should we arrive for a short line and quick embarkation?

We arrived l ast month at 10:30. There was a line already, but not too long. They opened the doors at 11:30..by then the line was very long. We were onboard before noon!

We arrived at the pier around 11AM, & there already was already a long line of passengers waiting. The doors opened at 11:30AM, by a little after 12PM we had been to our cabin & were walking around the ship.

Seems like Princess actually opens the gates between 1130 and noon--except if there are still problems from the debarkation earlier in the morning! If you plan on arriving anytime near 11:30 you will be on the ship just after noon....and sipping some "boat" drinks! Yee-ha
