Hotel in Papeete Tahiti - HELP????

We will be in Papeete Tahiti in January 2012 and are looking for a luxury hotel on the water there. Can anyone give us a suggestion for a nice place to stay?

If you look through the threads, you will see comments about the Intercontinental, Radisson and Le Meridien. The Intercontinental and Le Meridien are a little closer to downtown and the airport and both have some OWB's. The Radisson is farther out and doesn't have OWB's but it is on a black sand beach.

 

Most folks would point you toward taking a ferry to Moorea and staying at the Hilton or one of the other resorts there.
