Can a friend purchase you a "Next Cruise" certificate on their cruise??

Just wondering if our friends would be able to purchase us a "Next Cruise" certificate one their cruise?? Also, are next cruise certificates combineable with saving certificates?

yes and yes....I have seen this done....however the times I have seen it done is when the guest purchasing was also purchasing one for themselves.

It is off their cc. I have seen it refused too. It depends on the agent you see.

If doing it straight up doesn't work, I believe you could purchase one with two names ... one the guest on board and one the guest not onboard. I believe only one original name must stay on the booking, so the guest who booked could later be removed ... seems kind of complicated, though.

I have purchased Next Cruise certs for family and have booked a specific cruise for friends while onboard using my credit card. I did have their C&A numbers with me.
