Time in LA between flights

How much time between flights do we need to allow in LA on our return trip from Tahiti?

Air Tahiti Nui is in the Bradley terminal. You have to go through immigration and customs, then got to another terminal to catch you other flight.

I would allow at least 3 hours, because you may hit immigration at the same time a 747 disgorges 400 passengers.
