Mercury Repo to SF, Menu Change? Food!!

:D I was just wondering, since the Mercury is now cruising out of San Francisco versus San Diego and thus all fresh foods are coming from here now, would the menu change some?

 

I would think with all the dungeness crab here and say the Salmon up in Alaska they would take advantage of whatever Port they are provisioning from?

 

Anyone know that's been on all three cruises? San Diego/Mexico, San Francisco Mexico & or Alaska?

I wouldn't hold my breath on menu changes. Almost everything they purchase is through large national distributors such as Sysco (which delivers to other cruise lines, hotels and restaraunts). While they may add some small changes to the menus for local foods don't bank on it. Especially Dungeness Crab, too expensive and too messy. Man in tuxedo wacks crab with mallet ;).
