What is this?

We were on the Sapphire last month and had a great time. One of the on ship things we enjoyed was playing shuffleboard! Guys against the girls!

We played teams and didn't really know the rules so we made them up.

Well, now that I'm home I thought I would look of the rules for shuffleboard to see how badly we butchered them. When I do a search all of the rules talk about scoring in the triangle. Well it wasn't a triangle we played on so what was it?

Here is a pic of the court. Any shuffleboard experts out there?

Thanks,

Mr Happy

By saying "the triangle", don't they mean the 10 point section at the top that is more like a semi-circle on Princess ships?

We love shuffleboard. Our son got us into it when he was in his teens and now we're addicted to it, although we may not be playing correctly either!

Wikipedia says the court is a triangle...

So I guess they are just different on ships?
