Joanandjoe Posted March 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2005 I am following Steve Faber's Panama Canal Virtual Cruise (on the Mariner) with great interest. However, one point, which is stated as a plus by him, is of concern to me. On the first day, he mentioned that his suite had down comforters. I believe another poster has mentioned comfy down pillows. Down and feathers make me sneeze. Is it possible to obtain hypoallergenic bedding that does not contain down or feathers? DocDesdin Posted March 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2005 Having just gotten off the Navigator, I can tell you that all you have to do is ask. Down pillows are uncomfortable for me as they melt away to nothing, so I requested firmer pillows, no problem.
MarnaLou Posted March 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2005 On our last Mariner cruise I asked for foam pillows in advance on the guest information form and they were waiting for us when we arrived. Our stewardess pointed them out to me and asked if we'd also like some down pillows, which we did. Radisson really tries to make you happy.
