Water temp

We were there this past January at the reef and Stingray City and were very comfortable. I've heard that freak cold fronts can make it very uncomfortable at times, but normally it's very nice. The locals running the tour said that the water was freezing to them, though, and wore wetsuits. They're used to bathwater temps most of the year, it seems.

Cayman water temps range between a warm 87°F in September to October to a chilly (at least to us locals) 77°F in February to March.

Smaller bodies of water like pools can become substantially colder than the 77°F when there are some windy and overcast winter days.
