Can you plug a DVD player into your cabins TV?

Just a simple question if you can plug a DvD into the cabins Tv..for those chill out times? More specifically the P&O Tv's?

You should be able to, as the video recorders do plug in for playback. Assume it would be the same elec process.

Don't know about P&O, but on Sun Princess they use an in house connector for the TV feed and there is no RCA jacks or other input sockets to connect other devices. Difficult to get to the back of the set also.

 

This is one reason I take a laptop and I can then review all my photos (save and discard as appropriate) and I can play DVD/CDs

 

I understand that many ships are now installing LCD TV sets, and it is possible that these will have input sockets (on the front).
