Renting bicycles?

Jewelrylady,

My son and I rented bikes and rode them to Majahual on one of our trips. They rent fast, but I must give you a heads up. Unless they have changed, the seats are MOST uncomfortable. The ride gets to be a bit painful. On our last two trips, we walked the path from the pier to the town and it was most pleasant. The view of the sea is awesome! To get to the path, go south (left when the ship is behind you and the shopping area is in front of you). When you get to the shopping area, follow the beach and the path is right at the water's edge. It's about a 30 minute walk. If it is hot, just take a bottle of water. It is a nice walk; beats the taxis and the bikes. If you are too tired to walk back, just take a taxi.

Have a great cruise!

It's no longer possible to walk along the beach. The path has been blocked by a high wall.

I've seen many people renting bicycles at the port, but I don't have any idea how comfortable the seats are.

Have you considered renting a golf cart?
