kruzseeka Posted May 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Any info on the Bus from Palma City Centre to Soller will be going from RCI cruise Terminal? thanks Here are links to the buses; L210 is the scenic route - takes about an hour and a half but you get some fabulous views and pass through Deia and Valldemossa on the way. The links below show the route and timetable. http://www.consorcidetransports.org/en/web/ctm/autobus/linia/210 http://www.consorcidetransports.org/documents/10286/14364/L210%2C+des+de+2011.01.10.pdf If you want a quicker service then this is the bus which goes through the tunnel and is direct. also route and timetable links below. http://www.consorcidetransports.org/en/web/ctm/autobus/linia/211 http://www.consorcidetransports.org/documents/10286/14364/L211%2C+des+de+2011.01.10.pdf The Linea 1 bus will take you from the end of the pier to Catalunya Square. You may not want to do the train to soller, or have time to do it this way but if you were interested in going through the mountains on the Soller train then coming back by bus here is a link to a post in another thread with details, Post #22. http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1382066&page=2 Enjoy your trip. kruzseeka Posted May 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Many thanks for the info, Does the linea no 1 bus that goes to Catalunya Sq , connection with 210 . from timetable , shows bus terminus as Estacio Intermodal? Hi again, sorry for misleading you - got the wrong square - think I was thinking of Barcelona!!!!! The main square is Plaza Espanya and the main bus station is there along with the train station. And yes, the Linea 1 does drop you off there.

kruzseeka Posted June 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2011 Is everything in Soller closed on a Sunday ? :( Not sure about that but Soller isn't really the target destination. Once you get to Soller you get on the tram just outside the station and this will take you to the Port de Soller which is much bigger and the main resort in the area. Soller is quite an attractive town with a nice central square which has a cafe culture - but there really isn't a lot to keep you there - in fact you'll see a lot of it on the tram as you pass through on your way to the Port de Soller (if you are returning by service bus it's at the Port where you pick it up). I think the Port de Soller will be 'open' on Sundays - it's main economy I imagine is tourism so I'd expect the cafes, tourist shops etc to be trading.
