What a fun thread :) I just sent an email to Carnival for an Inspiration pin, it was my first cruise and of course I didn't get a pin for it.

 

Now the hunt is on for a neat photo box/frame type thing to put them in :)

Dear ccbpcruiser: Is there any chance that you could get an extra Fascination pin on your upcoming trip? I will pay for postage and such when you return. I would so appreciate it...it was my very first cruise for my 40th birthday and I have the best memories of it with a very special friend who is no longer with me but in my heart always... I saw in a post on another group that they now have Pins on the Fantasy. I don't know how true it is but will find out next month when I sail on her. Will try for some extra if this is true.

I was able to buy an original pin from the Fantasy. Before "past guest pins", they used to sell really, really nice ship pins in the gift shops. I found the Fantasy one on eBay.

 

Was also able to pick up Fascination pins....expensive but worth it.

 

Some of the prices for these pins get ridiculous - saw one for the Holiday sell for 57.00!!!! But, if you are looking to fill in, check on ebay.

Just came back from sailing on Carnival Destiny. As a past guest my pin was waiting in my cabin, I think mid-week. I emailed Carnival and had requested the Carnival Victory pin-this had been my first cruise. They emailed back, requesting some details, then mailed it to me at no cost. It was waiting at home when I returned from the Destiny.

I have seen some pins sell for over $120.00. That person

wanted the pin real bad I guess.

I'm looking for a Paradise Pin and a Triumph Pin. If anyone can help me with these, I'd appreciate it. I don't have pins to trade but I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount for them.

Go to Carnival's website and e-mail the customer service dept. to request the pins you are missing. Give them your past guest # and ship info(dates if you have them). I did this with 2 past cruises (sensation 2002, valor 2004) and they sent me the pins within a couple of months.

Regrettably, we do not have souvenir pins available for the JUBILEE, as this ship is no longer in our fleet, nor for the CARNIVAL FASCINATION, due to the length of the itineraries this ship sails.

I'm not sure what they mean by "length of itineraries". We were on a 7-day Southern Caribbean on the Fascination at the time. Jubilee was a 7-day Mexican Riviera.

The Jubilee pin is rare. The last one sold for more than that.

I had a very special person give me the one I have and will

always be grateful. :)

This is one of the main reasons I started this fun project is

to put a smile on someones face. I can't list all the pins

I have given away.

My supply of some pins is getting low, so if anyone has

any extra pins please let me know. I will greatly appreciate

it and so will the people they go to. If anyone does, I will

mail you a self addressed stamped envelope to send them

to me.

I never heard of these pins. Is it only the longer cruises that have them? We have only sailed the 4 day cruises from carnival so maybe they don't have them not sure. We are going on our third in January on the fantasy. I will try to find out on there but if anyone here knows and knows how to find out about past cruisers party..I would appreciate any information :D

 

Yes, Carnival told me that it is only the longer (7+) cruises that give pins.
