ground transportation from port everglades to west palm beach airport

We ( 2 people) are disembarking the Carnival Freedom at port everglades and need transportation to west palm beach airport(45 min away).Carnival does not provide it as they state it is a small airport.Can anyone recommend any taxis /limos and prices paid? thanks

There is a commuter train that runs to Miami from West Palm and back. It's called Tri-Rail http://www.tri-rail.com/ . You will need to take a cab from Port Everglades to the nearest Tri-Rail station and then a cab from the station in West Palm to the airport. It's very safe, inexpensive, and a nice relaxing ride.

You may want to rent a car. We did this once and it was very reasonably priced. Our flight was later in the day, so it worked well for us, and we were able to stop and do some sightseeing/shopping on the way.
