SWEETSEA Posted May 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2011 I am interested in hearing from anyone who has used Sotos for a stingray tour recently. We used them many years ago & I am wondering how you would rate them now. Thanks for your help.

HuskyBoy Posted July 2, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2011 Great...Would you please let me know how it went with Sotos after you return. Thanks Our tour with Soto was fantastic - they met all 27 of us on shore - we were on the first and second tenders. There was another couple of people that joined us. We were taken to their van and a taxi and away we went. On arrival the gear was handed out for snorkeling and we paid, getting on board the boat. The boat is covered and they had water and punch available. We went out to Sting Ray City and spent about 45 minutes with the Rays - feeding and taking pictures. Very much fun! On our way back we stopped at the Coral Gardens for about 45 minutes of snorkeling. Beautiful fish and coral to see. Overall - the experience beats the cruise ship crowds and is much, much cheaper - if you want to be dropped at seven mile beach following the tour - have at it. Enjoy your trip!
