Balcony stateroooms.

We need a cabin that accomodates 3 people. Does any one know whether any of the balcony staterooms on the 'Queens' have a sofa that converts to a bed as it is not clear from the information I have seen.

Any info. would be much appreciated.

Yes.

It's hard to show you without referring to a specific online TA's site but on the particular one I'm viewing the balcony staterooms with a sleeper sofa for a third occupant are marked on the plan with a plus + sign.

For example, the following staterooms on level 5 of the QE have a sleeper for a 3rd person:

5003 5004 5007 5008 5041 5043 5044 5046 5051 5054 5089 5091 5093-5100 5102 5104 5112 5114 5117 5119 5135 5137 5140 5142 5143 5148

The deck plans on cunard.com don't have this detail, but I believe the plans in the printed brochures do.
