scotslizzy Posted June 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2011 I have previously had breakfast in the cabin and was a little dissapointed in the temprature . My question is if you want to dine in your cabin at night and have a soup then a main course how does the steward keep the food hot ? Do they have hot trolleys to keep the food at the correct temp ? Thanks Scotslizzy
excitedofharpenden Posted June 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2011 No, they'll bring it on a tray with a stainless steel lid on your main course to keep it warm. If you are in a suite you can ask your butler to bring it to you course by course rather than all at once as you would normally get it. scotslizzy Posted June 1, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Well our luck may be in this time as we have a suite . We are on a port intensive cruise in September and may take up the option of dining in the suite. Cheers Liz
excitedofharpenden Posted June 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Liz, if you can give him a bit of notice he'll appreciate that. Ask him to leave the dining room menu in your cabin for when you return and give him a call when you get back to let him know what you want. bellybutton530 Posted June 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2011 The PH has a microwave oven in the butler's pantry; I'm sure that they make use of it, along with the full-sized refrigerator/freezer when there are dinner parties in those cabins.
