Cash/Credit/Traveler's Cheques

I keep seeing posts for St. Martin that they do not like to take credit cards - cash only. How about Nassau? We are planning to do the Hilton day pass (only in port from 8 to 2) and my guess would be that they would, indeed, take credit cards but thought I would ask...

And does anyone do traveler's cheques anymore?

Thanks in advance...

Hilton takes cash or credit card as payment.

I'm sure they accept traveler's cheques at the front desk for payment. Not sure if they would cash them without your being a guest.

Don't know of anywhere that would cash them without being a hotel guest.

Smaller vendors, wouldn't touch them.
