fraz0132 Posted June 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Our port is Montego Bay but an excursion through Carnival is Dunn's River Falls. Is it worth the 2 hour drive? Any other suggestions?
Ready 4 the next 1 Posted June 2, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2011 Our port is Montego Bay but an excursion through Carnival is Dunn's River Falls. Is it worth the 2 hour drive? Any other suggestions? It is only an hour drive to the best place in Jamaica, Negril. Personally, I would go spend the day there on 7 mile beach. You could also see if they have a trip to Mayfield Falls, which is a river walk. It would also be closer than DRF and is a lot less touristy. Enjoyed the falls but I wouldn't do a 2 hour bus drive to see them. Wait for another cruise when your port is O.R.
Vacation Needed Posted June 10, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2011 Yeah Dunns river is crowded and a long ride from Mobay. Mayfield falls is good alternative. About an hour drive but road is bad and bumpy. I'd recommend YS Falls. Less touristy and lots of activities to do like zipline and rope swing. https://www.facebook.com/YSFallsJamaica Here is the picture of my guests I bought over to YS falls. Would this be an option from the Falmouth port? If so, how long of a drive to YS Falls?
Vacation Needed Posted June 10, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2011 I don't recommend this place to go to if you're coming from Falmouth port. Driving distance is about 2 hours each way you won't have much time. THANKS for your quick and honest reply! Any recommendations for things to do from Falmouth port? Beach time or Ziplines?
