How to get to Frilandsmuseet (Open-Air Museum) in Copenhagen

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I want to know what is the best way to get to Frilandsmuseet (Open-Air Museum) from the port. I found on internet that it is possible to take the train or the bus. Maybe even by taxi?

Have you already made it? What’s your comments.

Sorry for my English :o

A taxi is way to expensive but S-train line B (towards Holte or sometimes Hillerød this summer) from either Østerport or Nordhavn to Sorgenfri where you can walk to Frilandsmuseet.

A 5 zone single ticket cost 60 DKK so maybe a 24 hour ticket (130 DKK) is a better option.

But if you only are planning on visiting this place you can probably save some money by purchase a discount card but then i need to know how many people who are traveling and if there are any children under 16 and under 12.

Here is the walking route from Sorgenfri to Frilandsmuseet.
