Vancouver Edgewater Casino

Can anyone tell me if this casino is within walking distance of the downtown area - namely the Sutton Place hotel. If so, is it a safe walk after dark or should we take a cab? Thanks!

its in a safe area but a little far. Edgewater has shuttle buses that will take you there free. Most hotels also have a coupon book and they will reimburse your cab fare.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you happen to know where the shuttle buses will pick you up in the DT area? Also, are you saying the casino will reimburse us the cab fare?

at the hotel I stayed at the hotel had coupon books which indicated cabs fare was reimbursed but I do believe the shuttles will pick up at any downtown hotel.

Given the fairly short distance from the major hotels to the casion it may be cheaper to re-imburse for taxi fares than run the full expense of a shuttle.

Thanks for the link - it did help. I have to say I don't see this casino mentioned very often. Is there a reason for that?
