scubagirrl Posted July 5, 2011 #26 Share Posted July 5, 2011 Scubagirl, What time does the water park close? We will be coming off the Carnival Fascination which docks at noon on August 1st. I imagine we won't get off the ship and over to the CS and on to Atlantis until maybe 1:30 - 2:00. If the park closes at say 5p or something like that it probably won't be worth it. There will be 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Thanks for your help.:D Waterpark Hours 10am to 6pm in the summer 10am to 4:30pm in the winter.
JLMS Posted July 5, 2011 #27 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I just did this last week. You must have gotten lost. From the CS to the Casino door was at most 5 min- about 2 blocks- The Casino had a little hut inside to purchase the day passes $120 adult 12 years and under $80 there are taxis everywhere. when we left Atlantis they had a bunch just sitting there- its a breeze have no doubts - very easy and fun! rcoaster809 Posted July 6, 2011 #28 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Scubagirrl, Question about where to get the bracelets after checking in at CS? Lower level of towers- is that the main bldg past the casino, main lobby, down the steps near the dig? I am going next month as well via the CS. What is the child's age limit before you have to pay adult rate? I just did this two weeks ago and that is exactly where you need to go to get the wristbands. It is right next to the desk where you purchase photo across from the entrance to The Dig.
b0b27116 Posted July 6, 2011 #29 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Book the day you arrive, otherwise, you'd be considered a no-show and cancelled. You can check in anytime, but the waterpark doesn't open until 10am. Each room allows only 4 guests, so if you are 2 adults and 3 kids, you would need with 2 rooms or 1 room and you'd purchase an extra day pass ($120 for adults / $80 for kids). If you want to use the room during the day book for the day before and call them the day you book and tell them you will not arrive until the next morning. you can not have a room the day you book until 3PM. If you join their club you can get a late check out.

It was at the towel hut. I was told to go to the back of the CS and then was directed to the towel hut, got my wristbands and then was told to "go that way". Ended up at an outdoor restaurant and was told "over there". Couldn't get lost if I was going where I was told. Things may have changed since last year since you found it so easily. casper3 Posted November 16, 2011 #31 Share Posted November 16, 2011 I just booked a room at the Comfort Suites for next week. We have 2 adults and 3 children. From everything I have read in ALL of these message boards, I fully expected to be told we could only have 4 in a room. I called the international booking number and was told we could book 1 room for all 5 people since the 3 children were under age 12. I called that number twice and spoke with 2 different people that both said the one room would give us admittance for all 5 people to Atlantis. After I booked it, I called the hotel directly and verified with the front desk that information was correct. The children under age 12 stay for free so we can have 5 in the room and all we be given admission to Atlantis with no additional charges. I will post again after we get back if we have any problems......

We've heard that under 4 y/o you can have a 5th person in the room, but atlantis is very strict about the 4 person per room rule (unless the 5th person is under 4). Please post when you return. We arrive in Nassau on Dec 26th It's likely that all rooms (atlantis or Comfort Suites) are fully booked, or there is a 2/3 nite minimum as they have done in the past. You can try booking in advance for the day you arrive. You may be able to book thru Majestic Tours bahamas .. But keep in mind.. it's the most crowded week of the year and I do mean crowded. Atlantis will be wall to wall people.
seymour6 Posted December 8, 2011 #36 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks scubagirrl! I just called down to CS and booked a room for that night. We are all set and I am so happy because this was is actually saving me money compared to the excursion on the boat! I am so excited that I get to take my kids to Atlantis!!! Wish I could tell them...but its their Christmas present!!!;) Did you book for 5 people.. (you did say you had 3 kids, right). You may have to also book an extra ticket thru majestic. Make sure before you go and get the name of the person you talked to. The legal Fire law is 4 to a room .. and with new owners taking over Atlantis.. I'd have it in writing. seymour6 Posted December 9, 2011 #38 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Yeah its for 4 people! They said we can go down there that morning and get one for our 6 year old! Do you know another way? What is Majestic?

What is Majestic? Majestic is the tour company at Atlantis (independent). They sell advance tickets. Atlantis does not. If atlantis is out of tickets for the day.. you will be out of luck. Book 1 ticket with majestic.. especially since you will be there for the holiday and Atlantis sells out. Googlle Majestic tours bahamas.

scubagirrl Posted December 9, 2011 #41 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Scubagirrl...Is Majestic tours reliable? It would be cheaper to cancel the room and all do majestic tours. Would that be better or not a good idea? Thanks for all your help! CS is sometimes cheaper.. that would be the only reason to book it rather than Majestic. Majestic is reliable. Just make sure u bring your paperwork and the name of the person you deal with With the holiday season.. everything is going to be crazy.. Check majestic prices against what you are paying for the room/ tax and surcharges at CS>

marteuge Posted December 15, 2011 #46 Share Posted December 15, 2011 I'm going to pick up my ticket at the Majestic tours desk at the Coral tower lobby next week. I was told to do that by email from Majestic tour. Hope this helps. Does anyone know if I need to take towels from the ship for Atlantis water park? I get one ticket from Majestics tour and 4 tickets from Comfort Suites. I was wondering Comfort Suites will give us the towels or use towel hut at the Atlantis. CapsR1 Posted December 16, 2011 #47 Share Posted December 16, 2011 I have another question. our ship will be in Nassau for 2 days - arrives at 11:30am on October 24 and departs at 10pm on October 25. If I book a room at the CS for the night of the 24th, can I use the passes for both days? Or should I book the room the night of the 25th and just use the passes on the day of the 25th? TIA! Great question, I'd like to know the answer to this as well!

scubagirrl Posted December 16, 2011 #49 Share Posted December 16, 2011 Great question, I'd like to know the answer to this as well! If you book the room for the day of arrival, and don't check out at the same time, you can use the Atlantis facilities both days.. You MUST go the first day you book the room, or it will be automatically cancelled.
