Fuzzyape Posted June 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Can anyone tell me if Sangria is available at the bars? DW and I are sailing Golden in October. DW is trying to decide if she should buy some sangria to take aboard, or if she can just buy it at the bars? Thanks
greenbar Posted June 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2011 I had sangria in the Adagio bar aboard the Ruby Princess in early May. It was quite good too.:) Greenbar
Sunkissed Mommy Posted June 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Is it real Sangria or just a bottle of wine called Sangria??
Fuzzyape Posted June 8, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted June 8, 2011 Thanks Greenbar, I'll keep my fingers crossed it wasn't a ship only special.
Luvmyrotti Posted June 8, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2011 I was on the same sailing as greenbar and the Sangria was delicious, so much so that I got the recipe from the bartender. Unfortunately, I think it was one of the regional drinks, since we were doing the TA to the Med, so not sure it is always on the specialty drink menu, but I suspect they would make it for you if you asked on non-Med sailings. To the poster who asked, it is the real thing and a very tasy recipe I must say. Enjoy!
