Anyone else noticed the new dress code names on the Cruise personiliser? This is for a Ventura cruise.

There will be 4 Black Tie, 0 Smart, jacket required and 10 Evening Casual nights on your cruise

This is interesting, Matty, especially when taken with other bits of information that have been emerging recently. For instance, both Cunard and P&O will have fluid pricing in force for 2012, an example: Fares for cabins on some ships for P&O's 175th Anniversary increased by 50%, yes 50%, within 8 hours of going on general sale; this will subsidise reduced, late bookings I expect. Cunard and P&O together now share Carnival House, alone, in Southampton with the departure of Princess Cruises to the USA. Carole Marlowe C.E.O. of P&O, was C.E.O. of Cunard of course.......... Black tie, eh!.........no real mention of suits then.......;Oh! naturally, they will worn on the Smart evenings won't they?......................Evening casual does sound similar to elegant casual, doesn't it? It looks to me as if, in many ways, there will be a drawing together of both P&O and Cunard over a period of time. What do you think, Matty?
