STARFISH*4 Posted June 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2011 we did B2B last December, doing this December and doing next December i guess we LIKE the SUN;) GOOD little ship...LOVE the Sports Bar (for Blue Lagoon food) and i LOVE sitting at the Great Outdoors when we leave the ports. we did have a GREAT time on the SUN last December despite her "breaking" done and even that didnt make the SUN shine any less for us!! do a search and check out some threads posted about the SUN and watch for the reviews too. fergusonvt Posted June 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2011 The Sun is a fantastic ship. Just the right size and her crew are great. A couple that was at our M&G in January did 4 weeks on her. Would that be a B2B2B2B? As mentioned the Sports Bar is great for food and drinks. Also, the Great Outdoors for breakfast was nice.
DMH15 Posted June 13, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2011 I love the Sun... Il Adagio, The Great Outdoors. Looking forward to trying Moderno. A nice size. I don't like floating cities.
retiredonthesea Posted June 13, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Would love to do a B2B on the Sun---we love this ship. Our favorite cabin was 0065, but because we had a "little" soot problem and some banana peels down on our balcony we bk'd 9076 for our next cruise. The casino was very generous too (paid for that cruise and helped pay for the next):o We really enjoyed dining in East meets West and had some of the best sushi in the Ginza restaurant. Actually all the dining venues where good to excellent. Another bit of info--we had a large halloween party in our suite with 18 - 20 people and our Butler was fabulous about helping put on a great spread---hors d'oeuvre and canapes, chips dips, veggies. Whatever cabin you select everyone is treated like kings & queens. I think the smaller size of the ship makes it more intimate and personable. Just wish it wasn't sooooo long until we sail her again! Have a lovely time on your B2B!!
