Bon Voyage Alcohol Ordered!

For those of you sailing from Texas and Alabama~

Note! Please note, due to restrictions with "Alabama and Texas Liquor Laws" We are unable to deliver select gift items at Embarkation. Some items are delivered the following day.

You might not get your bottles on embarkation day~~I received a gift basket with wine from the casino on one of my Galveston cruises and did get it on the first day so I don't know how accurate they are regarding this rule~ but just be aware that if could arrive the next day~~

have a great cruise everyone!!

When sailing from Galveston the liquor is usually in your cabin after dinner, which is when the ship is in international waters.

Just ordered 2 bottles of Captain, 1 bottle Malibu and 1 bottle Bacardi. $219 for all of it. No hassle or stress smuggling. I will be able to make my drinks in my large mug at my leisure and to my own taste. Comes out to about $3 per drink....a small price to pay for the peace of mind I have now!

I bring that also for 95$, Peace of mind and more money to buy things from the ship(pics, excursions, dod's).:D

WOW - I didn't know this was available!!!! I just looked at Carnival's website and don't see any liquor available (other than wine)...is it only available if you call?

Thanks for any help you can give!!!

Yes only available when you call the Bon Voyage department ~800-522-7648

This may be an odd question but... Can I bring a drink up to a deck and drink it there? I assume I can't bring it to the dining room. Thanks.

You can take it anywhere on the ship~ including the dining room~! Some people have said they bring the bottle up on deck with them or you can put it in a flask~there are glasses in your stateroom or you can stop by any bar and ask for glasses~or bring an insultated mug for daytime drinking~

FYI....we sailed out of NYC in early June and I forgot to call BV to order....but once we got in our cabin, I called room service and it was delivered in less than 20 minutes :D ....I'm pretty sure it was before sailaway, but not 100% sure....anyway, my point....you can order bottles of liquor on the ship....

I was undecided about ordering a whole bottle since it was only a 4 day cruise...I only drank about 1/3 of it....but in Sept, we are heading out again for 8 days...I'm sure I will have no problem with a full bottle then ;)

Also.....as a side note....not that I am condoning smuggling...BUT....in our carry on, we had the allowed drinks (12pk of soda & 1 bttl of wine each) and it was NEVER checked.....there could have been anything in that bag (12pk of beer & bottle of liquor)....I'm just sayin'

I was wondering myself if someone were to say...empty out a Coke frig 12pak and say substitute 12 Corona cans in its place and tape the box back...you know how flimsy that cardboard could be...could one pass inspection?

...not that I condone such behavior either :D
