Do anyone know please if it is easy to get transport from barbados airport to the port instead of getting on the coach, taxis etc and do you knw if they charge a lot thankyou

It would be easy to get a taxi to the ship but it takes about 50 minutes to get there so I don't know what the cost would be. I think I would prefer to take the charter. With all the ships visiting Barbados, they are really geared up for it

Don't know if Barbados is the same, but when we cruised with Thomson from the Dom Rep, you didn't need to go throuigh the airport if you were cruising, they took you through a side gate, completely missing imigration etc., and even took our bags off the plane straight to the ship.

 

If you wanted to make your own way, i would expect you would need to go trough the airport in the normal way, collect your bags., etc. so probably work out longer.

 

I'm sure Thomson can arrange a private transfer if you want one, give them a ring.

Same with P+O on a Thomas Cook flight and I think with most cruise companies with flights from the UK. You walk down the steps off the plane onto the bus and it takes you straight to the ship.

 

No customs, no waiting for your suitcase on the conveyor belt etc.

Both times at Barbados we have got off the plane 30 steps to the Bus and away.

 

Taxi would be a lot more trouble get on the coach and relax on your way to the ship
