How much the cheap TShirts cost in Cozumel?

I have 12 nice and nephews. Was thinking about buying cheap TShirts from Cozumel.

 

How much the TShirts fort Kids will cost? Should I buy from docking area or go to Downtown?

You should be able to find colored t shirts as low as $4.

 

The white tee shirts are often cheaper, but who wants white?? gets dirty too easy.

 

I find $4 tee shirts near the port all the time... and have seen kids too.

In 2006 I got 2 shirts for $8 I think and I still have them.

Be careful though many cheap T shirts are cheap for a reason and dont survive first washing.

My $4 tee shirts, I wear them all the time. they are the embroidered kind and didnt shrink.

 

I got the 3/$10 in progresso, a cheaper thinner material that wrinkles more easily and they are not as good as the ones I get almost every cruise for $4 in cozumel.

Try to buy them from the same vendor to get an even better deal. The number they first quote is just the starting price..lol

Bargin with the vendor and usually the more you buy the better the deal. I would also say if you are going to be downtown anyway you may find a slightly better deal there. but probably not worth a special trip.

best purchase I ever made for my kids the first time we went to cozumel were those aida floss bracelets.....loved them so much, when I went back this past March, I got two more!! Negotiate tho... they also take up TONS less room!! When we took the girls on their first cruise in October, thats what they bought themselves for souvenirs from each port..

 

 

 

 

 

What was funny is that in 2009, I asked him to make a 'Caitlyn'... in 2011, it was on the board...

 

 

and it was the same guy both times who made my bracelets!!

they are available at one of the nearby shops at the Puerta Maya pier...I paid $5 each, but I was only buying 2, and I asked him to make the new 'Caitlyn' and Steph special for me. He was quite flattered that I remembered him from 2009.

We were able to pick up decorated maracas in Downtown for $2 each. The kids (all under 6) loved it. They are quite large, so it might be difficult to bring home.

We have found down town is cheaper. If you buy three or four t-shirts at a time you can get good prices. Many are very thin and shrink a full size. Anything you buy more than two of you should get a deal. A taxi down town from the pier is seven dollars. Seven dollars back. :rolleyes:
