Has anyone done this with a FCC?

Wondering if anyone has had 2 cruises booked, went on the 1st cruise, bought a FCC on that cruise, and used that FCC on the next cruise that was already booked?

 

Will it be accepted for the next cruise?

FCCs now say in the new small print specifically they cannot be used on already booked cruises .. though the old ones do not say so.

 

So, some have been rejected as reported on here .. and some have gone thru. My PVP says she can still get them thru.

 

Just realize since it says you cannot .. that you might not be allowed to do it now that FCCs are moving online .. whenver they get the kinks out.

Future Cruise Credit - you can purchase these while onboard - $100 per cabin will get you $100 onboard credit on your next cruise if it's at least 7 nights (less if it's a shorter cruise). You send in the future cruise credit when you want to book your next cruise and get the $100 off the price, so it's really a win-win situation as long as you plan to cruise again (basically paying $100 in advance but don't have to know the specific cruise you want to go on.) You get two years to book and then can book out to a year out, so technically you can get 3 years from the date of purchase (we just purchased one on the Pride two weeks ago, so this is still fresh in my mind.) If you decide within the first two years you aren't going to use it, Carnival will give you a refund.

OK, I guess it's 50-50. I'm gonna buy one and try it. If it doesn't work I guess I'll have to take another cruise. Damn!!!
