Egypt???

Hi all.....wondering if anyone has any idea what's going on with Oceania and Egypt? We were/are booked on Riviera July 19th, 2012, but they took Egypt out of the itinerary. When I enquired, I received an email about "passenger safety, etc." and "we need to make our arrangements far in advance.

 

Today I was checking out their "sales" and found they are indeed going to Egypt - Nautica goes there Nov. 2011! I must be missing something.

 

For now, we will probably forego Riviera and do Regent instead. Overall, not much difference in price when you factor in free alcohol, free excursions, no tipping and free airfare.

 

Any thoughts, anyone?
