Pre Cruise Night Monte Carlo

We have a pre cruise night in Monte Carlo. Trying to decide between Hotel du Paris or Hotel Metropole - any feed back from anyone or should i be looking at another hotel entirely

Might I suggest a third choice. We adore the Hermitage...it is located right there..and is lovely..request a veiw of the harbor. Enjoy a lovely breakfast outside. You can stroll down the street of designer shops... to the casino and Hotel de Paris. You will love looking down at the lovely yachts. We have not stayed at the Metropole..but it is modern..and the Hermitage has old world charm. The Hotel de Paris is lovely as well..but..we found that it was a bit on the "chilly" side..no warmth..such as we enjoyed at the Hermitage..hope this helps. Lola ;)

Another vote for the Hermitage. Hotel de Paris takes itself too seriously. The Hermitage provides warm service in beautiful surroundings.
