ChattieKathy Posted July 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I was on the Maiden Voyage cruise of Allure back in December. I'm starting to think about beginning my scrapbook of the cruise and I have a question. We were given a beautiful portfolio thingie. It has a Caribbean map/Title thing on the front, and inside is an 8X10 photo of Allure and a Certificate of Commemoration for the Maiden Voyage. Should I remove these items from the portfolio thingie and put them in my album...or should I scan them, and put the scans in my album and leave the original intact? I don't have a lot of room in my home to display something like this...so it's been put away for "another day". I don't want to ruin something that could be of value someday. But..it's also more likely to get lost or ruined if I keep it "as is". the items would be safe in a scrapbook..but they would be minus the portfolio. Opinions please?? AD5ZA Posted July 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2011 Leave the portfolio as is. Scan what you want to use in the scrapbook.
Host Caroline Posted July 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Ditto... my scanner will do in color and hopefully you get good quality.. Once you scrap it into a page protector bet no one will even know it's not 'real' thing :)
