flashdog_1 Posted July 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Is there a website with a calendar? I am on Golden Princess which is in Juneau next Monday. If there is a calendar I'd be interested in knowing which dock in all the ports, as well. I've been to Alaska twice and docked in different places both times. flashdog_1 Posted July 6, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Here's a link for the schedules. http://www.claalaska.com/schedules.html Thanks, now if I knew what the abbreviations meant I'd be fine! There was no legend that I could see. Juneau CT what does that mean? Ketchikan 1 what does that mean? I know RR in Skagway is Railroad! beach bunnie Posted July 6, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2011 At the bottom of the page of links, there is a link to the "Berth Codes". Here's a link to a Juneau map that shows the docks. Next Monday the schedule show the Golden at FKL not CT. I think that's "B" on the link below. http://www.traveljuneau.com/downloads/map_downtown_big.jpg This Ketchican link to the bus system shows the dock map on the second page. http://www.borough.ketchikan.ak.us/bus/documents/TRANSITNEWSCHEDULE.pdf This link shows a Skagway map. http://skagway.com/citymap.html
flashdog_1 Posted July 6, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Thanks for your help. I know these berthing areas change. One time we were scheduled to dock at a particular pier in St Thomas. I was meeting a friend who lived there and she even talked to the president of the West India Company who confirmed that's where our ship would be. When we got there we had to anchor out! So who knows why one schedule says CT and this one says FKL. I do appreciate your links. If this little map of downtown Ketchikan is an indication, I can see where #1 ship is! http://www.visit-ketchikan.com/GettingHere/DowntownKetchikanMap.aspx
