Sauer-kraut Posted July 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2011 Just looking at the German Railway website I don't think its is possible as one way is a 6 hour trip with between 2-3 train/bus changes. Since you didn't say what day of the week, I just plugged in a Thursday, the train at 6:52 arrives at Szczecin Central Station at 13:04. Unless you wanted to reconnect with the ship the following day at the next port...

Travelanni Posted July 10, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2011 Anyone every take the train from warnemunde (rostock) into poland. We are in Warnemunde for about 10 hours and wondered if this is feasible? Thanks :) Hi, I do this journey quite often to visit friends. The 9.01am from Rostock, via Stralsund and Pasewalk, to Sczcecin Glowny arrives at 12.41pm. (3hrs 40min) but you would have to return on the 14.57pm so it is not really worth it. There is usually a train every two hours, with only one change, which takes around 3hrs but due to track work this is not running at the moment. Pity as it is an interesting trip which is included in the Lander ticket. The distance is not very far, it is the changes which take the time. Happy cruising, :) Anni
