I have heard that the ships are usually decorated for Christmas after Thanksgiving, is this true? I'm going on the Ecstasy on December 10 and it would be kind of awesome if the ship were decorated. TIA

We were on the Imagination a week or two before Thanksgiving, and it was already decorated.

We sailed on the Fascination in mid-November 2009 and it was already decked out for Christmas! So, yes, it will definitely be decorated after Thanksgiving.:)

We sailed on the Fascination last year on 12/5 and they decorated the ship that day while it was in port. On the last sea day, they had a Christmas program, which included the kids from Camp Carnival. Very nice, very sweet.

We cruised Thanksgiving week on Glory, and the ship was almost fully decorated...they were still putting up some of the decorations that week, but there were definitely many holiday decorations already up
