NHWILDCATCRUISERS Posted July 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2011 First time poster & new member...long time reader of these Boards. Thank you to all for your insight, hints and clues. Sailing on Dream in November (12-19), Western itinerary. Sailed on Dream from 3/26 - 4/2 Eastern. Loved the ship so much we are taking DD along for the ride this time. We have booked Spa cabins: Panorama Deck 11220 & 11216 and looking at the deck plans they located unser one corner of the fitness room and the stairs leading to the Thalassotherapy Pool. Just wondering if anyone who has these cabins has experienced any excessive noise issues during times when Fitness Roon and Spa are open?

There may be some noise, but not like under the treadmills and no dumbbells get dropped on the floor in this area. Balcony cabins across and down from you will experience the noise. And probably not much in the early mornings when the threadmills and ellipticals get the heavy use. The stairs and elevator are used by your fellow Spa cabiners on the Panorama deck to get ot the spa area or Serenity deck. Should not affect you at all in terms of noise. If you can change to the other side and back further it would be much better because you are right under the weights and threadmills.
unionville3 Posted July 11, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2011 We were in 11236 (a balcony spa cabin). This room was under the gym. The good news is that the gym isn't open at night while you are sleeping and we really never noticed anything during the day. My husband said he heard some slight noise (small thud) but it wasn't anything to bother us. We used the stairs you are referring to on a daily basis. They begin on the 11th floor and end on the very top level of the Serenity. We never encountered anyone on the steps between 11 and 12 and they are enclosed in a stairway so I can't imagine you would notice any noise.
