Saint John, NB - Whale watching

Recommended Posts

I am trying to find a whale watching tour out of the Saint John port. Everything seems to be out of Saint Andrew's but there does not seem to be shuttles or anything to transport back and forth. Is there a easy way to arrange for transport there. Car rental would work but more more complicated.

Whale watching excursions are not offered out of Saint John that I know of - car rental would be your only option. I suspect they are not offered because quite often the schedule of the excursion boats leave either too early or too late in the day to be compatible with cruise ship arrival and departure times. St. Andrew's is a 80 minute drive and the excursion itself ranges from 2 to 3 hours. Expect delays on the highway also due to construction.
