Bandit Posted July 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2011 I will be sailing out of New Orleans in March 2012. I'm concerned about the parking because they only have one parking garage at the pier. I believe it holds 1500 cars. That's not much space for 4 cruise shipsl In March they will have the: Carnival Conquest Carnival Elation NCL Spirit RCI Voyager These are all very large ships. I know they will not all be there on the same day. Two on Saturday and two on Sunday. Even still all those people will have to have someplace to park. To my knowledge they are not building any new parking garages. New Orleans has a parking problem. So does anyone have any answers to the parking situation in New Orleans? VideoTech Posted July 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2011 I can't help you directly, as we do not drive to New Orleans, we fly. However, in reading these boards, it's my understanding that many of the hotels offer cruise parking - although you may have to spend a night or nights at the hotel to be able to use this option.
