I'm coming with my folks and some other family, but my other half is staying home. I've only done all gay cruises, which are phenomenal, so I'm really glad there will be some "family" on board this one. I know I'll have a great time with my family, but what's a vacation without "family"!

"family" is good thing. Especially when the other family is driving you crazy...LOL

 

We should have a mini meet and greet. I have never done the All Gay crusies so we have lots to talk about.

There will be some Kinda LGTB mixer of Friends of Dorothy thing, won't there?

Yes Carnival usually has a few Friends of Dorothy times and locations throughout the cruise. They are usually @ night after dinner seatings. There is another thread in the general roll call section of other cruisers you might want to browse. They seem like an eclectic bunch and might be fun to hang with them too.

Even though this thread only has a few posts, there are over 130 views. Here's hoping some more will be on the cruise and start posting too.

Where would youy like to meet on the ship. My suggestion is right after Muster Drill. Just for a few minutes.

 

Maybe on the pool deck (Lido) near the Pizza Place

Another suggestion is meeting somewhere for a drink on the first night after dinner.

I have early dining, and I don't know the ship. You pick.

I have late dining. So from what I can see, with the deck plans, the best place to meet would be at the Atrium Bar right after your dinner...About 7:30 to 8:00pm.

 

Sound like a plan?

 

I will be wearing a sky blue shirt and jeans.

Will be on the Dream with my Partner and his family on September 3rd - 10th, 2011. 5 days! Cannot wait! ...reading the boards on here though, there doesn't seem to be all that many people calling out...hope there are more than 10 people on board...never been on Carnival.

The usual meet-n-greet is on the lido deck near the pool bar in the front of the ship.
