Marineland Tours

DH and I were out at Stingray City today, and a tour boat I'd never seen before was there...Cayman Explorer, run by Marineland Tours.

It was empty, doing some crew training I think, so no idea how many are usually in their groups, but it looked like it would hold a slightly smaller group, maybe in the 40-50 person range rather than the huge cattle cars.

The main reason I'm posting, though, is that the boat had one of the best sets of stairs to get into the water that I've seen in a long time. There was a wider set of steps like ive seen before, but this boat also had two narrower sets on either side of the wider set, with excellent handrails. It looked very easy to get on and off, at least from where I was. (The crew was busy, so I didn't snoop more closely.) Image 4 in their gallery section of their website shows the stairs.

They also had a wheelchair sticker on the side of the boat, so I'm guessing they have pretty good accessibility on the boat as a whole.

If the PPs who were looking for easier access trips to Stingray City haven't gone yet, this might be worth checking out - http://www.marinelandtours.com - although you might want to check for reviews other places online as well, since I only saw the boat, I didn't take a tour with them... :D

No prob. Check out image 2 in their gallery, which is a good pic of the stairs at the back of the boat. They look way easier to get up and down than the usual ladder-type entry on most boats. No idea how good their tours are, though...
