sk84fungirl Posted July 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2011 There are 4 in our party all arriving at MIA Friday before our September cruise. I've been researching the best method of transportation to the Intercontinental. Super Shuttle is is $55 for the entire party. I've read that the cost of a taxi is about $30? Seems a little low. Would that be for 2 passengers? Thanks for your help.
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 23, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2011 A taxi will cost about $30.00 with tip. Try to get a taxi van for the four of you. It is the same price regardless of the number of people in the taxi. It is your best method. From the hotel take a taxi as well to the port which is only about a 10 minute drive. Keith I just found this in another thread as well... "A taxi from POM to any downtown hotel will only run $10-15, for the cab not per person. Taxi from POM to any airport area hotel will cost about $30. Taxi from POM to the MIA airport is a flat rate fare of $24+tip. Minivan and SUV cabs are the same price as regular cabs. Good luck!" Thanks Keith! A taxi it is...:D
Marie51 Posted July 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I agree about the van taxi. I have done it with 4 people and it will be the less expensive way.
