pampaul Posted July 24, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2011 We will be sailing on the Fantasy next June with my sister in law and her family. She wants to know if there is a way to find out what jewelry stores will be on the ship. Will it be the same stores fleet wide? Or maybe the same as the Dream? If you could, would you please let me know so I could let her know. Thanks so much.
DISNEY FANTASY Posted July 24, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2011 We will be sailing on the Fantasy next June with my sister in law and her family. She wants to know if there is a way to find out what jewelry stores will be on the ship. Will it be the same stores fleet wide? Or maybe the same as the Dream? If you could, would you please let me know so I could let her know. Thanks so much. There are only three main shops on the Fantasy, and they mainly focus on Disney products, on the exiting ships there are only two main shops. + a lower deck duty free for booze. There isn't really a Jewelry shop but the shops do sell amongst other stuff some jewelry, (Disney themed). Sea Treasure, Mickey Merchandise, and Whitecaps are the names of the shops. DCL does have ''sales' and themes this will be in the daily paper the navigator, and may include Jewelry, St Thomas a destination on the Eastern Caribbean route is a good place fir duty free jewelry. truck1 Posted July 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2011 Im not sure about the Dream and Fantasy, but I do know that on the Magic and Wonder, on at least 1 night, they have some type of jewlery for sale, beside the normal Disney. They usually have gold by the inch, rings pendents etc.
ducklite Posted July 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2011 If you're looking for quality jewelry at good prices, you won't find it on a cruise ship.
hencoll Posted July 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2011 If you're looking for quality jewelry at good prices, you won't find it on a cruise ship. So true. A good local jeweler (not a chain) will usually be able find or create whatever you want, plus provide excellent quality, value and service. If anything goes wrong they are right there to handle it.
