Finding a place to sit in Labadee...

We will be in Labadee in late August and we were wondering how hard it is to get chairs. Do you need to be on the beach right when the ship docks or are they pretty much available all day? We have a regular cabin so we won't have access to the Barefoot Beach Club.

Thanks

I saw that there were quite a few chairs available on the beach. Not barefoot beach, but the "regular" beach that folks use. I was on that beach in the afternoon though. There really did seem to be a lot of empty chairs, and there were signs posted not to offer or accept money for chair placement.

There are PLENTY of loungers....the 1st beach area you come to will be VERY crowded, as most folks are lazy and won't walk past an available chair! Keep on walking...and if there's NOT a chair where you want to be, a 'beach boy" will get some for you (bring a couple dollars to tip him!)...there are lots of places to be on Labadee...and there's more than enough loungers to go around. You don't have to rush off the ship.
