We did the zoo with a combo, private tour with Nacho and Cynthia. I can't seem to be able to bring up his website but you can try to Google them. His email is

kip2299@yahoo.com and he usually replies quickly.

Not sure a cab would be the best way to go to get to the zoo. It is about 45 min to an hour and would cost a lot. Also, not sure I would drive all the way out there just for the zoo. See if you can combine it with something. If you ask Nacho, he can give ideas. He is one of the few private tour guides I have found on these boards and he had an excellent tour with him.

Nacho might reco a catamaran guide as well, but you won't be able to do both.
