The Great Liquor Debate

I was searching to see if I could find a thread that discussed why bringing a bottle of wine on board per person was okay, but bringing, say, a bottle of rum or vodka per person is not. I didn't find anything on that subject, so I will just reason that it has to do with alcohol content and leave it be.

 

I did come across something I found interesting, however. I apologize if it's been posted before, but I know a lot of people don't look at anything else on this site but the boards, so here it is. Some very interesting perspectives- and numbers.
